Volunteering

Please Note: We have a limited capacity to accept Volunteers and Students at this time.

EMCHC Volunteers work in many different areas. They may serve on one of our committees or work directly in our program areas. Our Volunteers promote our programs and services at outreach events, coordinate and facilitate wellness workshops, assist with advocacy initiatives, provide administrative support, and coordinate special events.

To apply to volunteer at EMCHC, please complete the volunteer application form (DOC) and send it via fax to 905-602-5432, Attention: Sarah Kelleher, or email to mississauga@lampchc.org (please use Volunteering as the subject line as spam filters may otherwise block your email). Student Placements

Please Note: We have a limited capacity to accept Volunteers and Students at this time.

In order to be considered for a student placement, candidates need to submit a complete application, as follows.

Please send in an application form (DOC), along with your résumé and a cover letter to mississauga@lampchc.org. Be sure to include the following:

  • the names of the programs at EMCHC that you are interested in completing a student placement
  • if your school/program requires any specific academic or professional credentials of the student placement supervisor
  • and, information about the structure of your student placement (when the placement is to occur, days of the week, number of hours required etc.)

After we receive the above information, a program supervisor at EMCHC will contact you directly for an interview if we have a possible placement available for you.
